Andrea Sheppard

Andrea is a flutist from Northern Wisconsin with a Bachelor's degree in General Music from the University of Northwestern-St. Paul. Her performance will include solo flute music spanning different eras, including selections from Bach, Debussy and Muczynski.

The Musician

Andrea Sheppard is a graduate of the University of Northwestern-St. Paul with a degree in General Music. From 2008-2010 she placed in the top three in the Thursday Musical Competition, and in 2009 she was the winner of UNW-St Paul’s concerto competition. In the years following she performed regularly with community orchestras in the Minneapolis area and began building her own teaching studio. She currently resides in Rhinelander, WI, where she is an accompanist in the Rhinelander schools and teaches private music lessons. Aside from music, Andrea loves reading, creating things, studying philosophy and theology, spending time outdoors, and being with her family.
